Interests: The greatest problem with telling (guitarist) people about myself is the thought that I must completely know (avid reader) myself before I clue you in on me. This of course is not true, because (Philosophy) it's impossible. Following Socrates' injunction to 'Know Thyself' is a lifelong task, for the single reason that (poet) the only constant in this universe is change. Change is something everyone (long walks on the beach) experiences everyday. Who (coffee/tea drinker) among us can truely say he or she is even the same person at dusk that they were at dawn? That is part of the motivation for starting this (art history) xanga, so I can share my change with other interested readers. I promise here and now never to be an 'evil bloger'. I (international traveler) will not bore you with what I ate for breakfast, or any irate absurdity like (hacky sack) that. Always, Aaron (Christian) Montgomery Harrison will transcribe into cyberspace only things that will entertain or enlighten.
Expertise: Making Coffee, getting up early, enjoying summer.

Adding to my address book

In the next six months, my life will be changing radically.  Keeping in contact with friends is very important me, and in order to do that through this turbulent time, I need to update my address book.  So, my friends and acquaintances (you know who you are), would you please email me your current contact information?  As detailed as you like...but the basics would be nice.

In addition to that, keep checking out my new blog : http://aaronmontgomery.blogspot.com

Merry Christmas to you all.  I received the following book...

That is all.

It's thaknsgiving, and I'm having a great break.

If you can, reading public, please watching the movie I just watched last night.

Ordet  by C.T. Dreyer

I can't believe what I've seen.  You won't either once you've seen it.
Also, if you have time to read, read Kierkegaard's 'Practice in Christianity'.
These things are giving me life these days.  Oh school, how you push and pull the life within me.

Can't wait for the next break.  My family is so wonderful, you have no idea.
I hope I have no idea about your family too.
Happy thanksgiving.

get your days right

So, if today is friday and I'm posting, that means the statement about leaving friday on the previous post was in error.  I'm leaving tomorrow morning.  Which is great, because I got to see Mewitoutyou last night at the Emerson.  I'm feeling pretty indie right now.  Not.
I like the music, and that's about it.  The anorexic clothing, the hair, the fact that most of the 'scene' looks like they just walked off the cover of the Ramone's edition of Rolling Stone...there's nothing that enacts my indifference then pointless parody.  It was like a living history museum from 1981.  So much for the indie scene.
Mewithoutyou is great though.

I'm in the middle of starting to pack.

I'm reading a history of the Catholic Church.

I'm ready to get on the road.
Talk to you all in a month.  I'd like to have lots of little notes left for me to read when I get back.
