So, if today is friday and I'm posting, that means the statement about leaving friday on the previous post was in error. I'm leaving tomorrow morning. Which is great, because I got to see Mewitoutyou last night at the Emerson. I'm feeling pretty indie right now. Not.
I like the music, and that's about it. The anorexic clothing, the hair, the fact that most of the 'scene' looks like they just walked off the cover of the Ramone's edition of Rolling Stone...there's nothing that enacts my indifference then pointless parody. It was like a living history museum from 1981. So much for the indie scene.
Mewithoutyou is great though.

I'm in the middle of starting to pack.

I'm reading a history of the Catholic Church.

I'm ready to get on the road.
Talk to you all in a month. I'd like to have lots of little notes left for me to read when I get back.

hey, glad to hear you enjoyed the show, i saw them twice at cornerstone, got to hear aaron speak for a little over an hour, and 'met' him, by which i mean i said hey and chit chatted real quick and shook his hand before he had to get on the bus...i realized at cornerstone just how sick i am of the scene, i love the music, so i still wear the shirts, and i still love going to shows, anyway, that being said, dylans playing ft wayne sept 5th, ive already got my ticket, wanna go? its about 60 bucks with everything ticketmaster hits you with...hope your summers going good, im throwing trash 5 days a week on the back of a garbage truck...
